ARSENAL entertain Chelsea in a flamboyant Premier League showdown in Super Sunday. Tom Love ( @ TomLove _ 19 ) shares his thoughts on betting.
Arsenal vs. Chelsea | Sunday 30 and Aug 2021, 04:30 pm | Sky sports
The two started the season in contrasting styles. Arsenal were typical Arsenal at Brentford on Friday night. They scoffed physically, lacked insight and creativity in the attack in front, and also did not get into decent scoring positions. They were missing a few key players like Aubameyang, Lacazette, Partey and Gabriel, but everyone will probably miss that too. Mikel Arteta has invited Martin Odegaard, who is supposed to provide a much-needed vessel between the lines, but he will not show up on Sunday as he is awaiting a visa after leaving Real Madrid. Given the limited options, it should come as no surprise that the Gunners will leave with 5 defenders and just watch how they play at half-time with Bukayo Saka, Emil Smith-Rowe and Nicholas Pepe.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are hoping for lasting order in their home and have added serial scorer Romelu Lukaku to an already strong roster. The Big Belgian could be the missing link for the Blues who had to deal with Timo Werner's profligacy last year
On the defensive side, Chelsea have performed excellently under Tuchel and I do not expect this to change this season, their form and know-how in a wide variety of situations is seriously impressive and it is a rather aggressive approach that still bears fruit. ... N'Golo Kante must be available again, and the only one missing for Tuchel is Hakim Ziyech, which means they must face this confrontation with confidence. Lukaku's appearance, especially Lukaku, should be a concern for Arsenal fans, but even without him one would expect visitors to leave with a victory over what I consider to be the average table at Arsenal.
Arsenal can do reasonably well at home against weak players when they have a clean health score, but here they face a real title contender and key players are still on the sidelines. It would be a surprise if they got something and 4/5 ( 10 bet ) to win Chelsea looks more than fair, they will be much shorter, for example, against West Ham, a team that I rate above the Gunners. I will also take the same price for Arsenal from scratch at the beginning of the Asian card handicap line ( Bet 365 ). Chelsea was a very clean team under Tuchel, in fact 16/19 In the league games that Tuchel took charge of the Blues, there were less than two cards presented and 10 of those 19 saw them draw 0 cards.
Arsenal may be at home, but I think they will be chasing the game for the most part. I don't expect there will be many cards here, so I'll take the Asian handicap line, but prefer Arsenal to be dirtier as their fans will be clamoring for an answer after last week's embarrassment.
This means that if the game ends at the card level, our bets will be refunded, but if Arsenal draw more cards, we win. We will only lose if Chelsea have more warnings, which happened in only 4/22 league games under the German.
Arsenal v Chelsea - Chelsea to win (4/5 18 KEEP PAIR)
Arsenal v Chelsea - Arsenal 0.0 with Asian handicap (4/5 Rate 2021 )
