England vs. Germany | Tuesday 29, June 2020, 17:00 | BBC
I try not to get carried away, but looking at it objectively, with the knockout of the Netherlands, the winner of this match should be in the final, and with the relegation of the world champions, the winner of this match can win the tournament. ... Can England do what they failed to do at Old Wembley a quarter century ago?
The first corner I like about this match is both teams to score 14/14 with SBK. While I'm not holding my breath, I really hope Gareth Southgate disengages the handbrake for this and really chases that suspicious German backline.
Joachim Loew's charges have already scored five goals this summer, two of which were against Hungary, and this lack of clean sheets is nothing new. Including its three Euro 2020 games, Die Mannschaft retained only three clean sheets of its last 17 as Latvia, North Macedonia and Northern Ireland managed to score goals against them.
While they are vulnerable from a defensive standpoint, their attacking pedigree is undeniable. After the World Cup they played 32 games without scoring in only three; twice against France and once against Spain.
Along the same lines, I also like the accurate 1-1 score at 31/5 with SBK. At the 2018 World Cup, England drew two of their three elimination games with just such a score (against Colombia and Croatia), which I think epitomizes Southgate's approach to those results. the fixtures are excellent.
The last bet I like about this game is the game calculated with 5/1 s penalties Sky Bet ... For the reasons stated above, I don't think there will be anything in the late 90s that separates the two countries and the extra time there will be an insidious romance. So even though none of us want to see it, I think this one will end with a penalty ...
England v Germany - Both Teams To Score (13/14 SBK)
England - Germany - 1: 1 Correct score (31/5 SBK)
England v Germany - either team wins on penalties (5/1 SkyBet )
